This project guidelines were to shoot footage and integrate found footage in one film. I shot my sister and cousin playing the game and I used a HD youtube clip of two gamers playing Mortal Kombat 9. This made them both look like experts.
This is a series that represents me and the crossroads I came to. The screen shot of GSU/Airforce should be in the middle to show two separate paths taken. To the right or the last 3 photos show my military path had I chose not to attend GSU. To the left or the first 2 photos shows the path I chose and where it will lead me. Before GSU I was lost and did not know where I was headed. GSU was my last chance and luckily I found film and photography.
This was taken at a rally for Trayvon Martin. I saw this kid and needed to capture him. I was only able to take a hand full of pics because of time and people moving to gain better positions. I chose not to shoot people with Trayvon signs and shirts because I wanted this photo to be able to transcend this case and be applied to all tragedies around the world.
Drawing 1- About non organic foods. This is an orange with circuitry running throughout. It’s an overt way of saying that technology has caused a change in the foods we eat and in a lot of cases it isn’t. We need to be more aware of this because things aren’t always as it seems. It looks like an orange and tastes like one but theres more to it than meets the eye.
Drawing 2- About enjoying life, having fun and taking risks. This is a surfing riding a huge wave. I used words synonymous with happiness, excitement and I used different extreme sports.
Drawing 3- Self Portrait. This is about me and the things I love. It shows who I am. Lover of film, television, super heroes, nature, fashion, happiness, etc.
